| The new museum area of Rugao City Museum is located at the core of the cultural square on the west side of Rugao Administrative Center. It was completed and fully opened to the outside world in October 2011, with a construction area of 9973 square meters and a total exhibition area of 3893 square meters. The total investment is 75 million yuan, the exhibition fund is 13.9 million yuan, and the cultural relics collection and office funds are 1.2 million. In terms of functional layout, the new area of Rugao Museum includes exhibition area, warehouse area, office area and ancillary areas. There are 3 fixed exhibition halls in the exhibition area: Xiushui Liuyun—Historical and Cultural Display, Xiushui Qunying—Celebrity Display, Ancient Yixianju—Natural Display. Three basic exhibition halls, a temporary exhibition hall and hall occupy more than half of the total hall area. The office area is as concise as possible under the premise of complete functions. There are also subsidiary areas such as teahouses and Wenbo shops. |
